Annie: The Musical
Plaza Theatre Company, Cleburne, TX, Nov 18-Dec 23, 2011
My first stage appearance in more than 15 years!  I was multi-cast as Mrs. Greer, Frances Perkins, a Hooverville bum, and a New York City socialite.  Plaza's most successful production to date, with 97% of all available seats sold.
Mrs. Greer and Mrs. Pugh (Hannah Midkiff) kibitzing.
Servants (Benjamin Midkiff and Devlin Pollock) and Mrs. Greer presenting "that painting from Paris" to Oliver Warbucks (Jay Lewis).
Warbucks' household staff eavesdropping on a phone conversation.
Annie (Taylor O'Toole) won't be an orphan for long.
Frances Perkins (staunch Democrat) reluctantly agreeing with Republican Oliver Warbucks.
An inspired Cabinet. Frances Perkins and Cordell Hull (Kyle Scarborough) getting riled up.  Harold Ickes (Joey Geisel), ruminates in the background.
A happy ending: the orphans and America are getting a New Deal for Christmas.
